The Tellabs® 1134 and 1150 Multiservice Access Platforms (MSAP)
are native end-to-end IP/Ethernet delivery platforms offering the
packet-based high-bandwidth technology required in today’s
networks. These access platform can be used in a variety of applications
including Fiber-to-the-Node (FTTN), Fiber-to-the-Curb (FTTC) and
Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP). The Tellabs® 1134 MSAP is a low-
to medium-density (50 to 500 lines) while the Tellabs 1150 MSAP
is designed to support the high capacity deployments. Focused on
Deep Fiber Solutions service delivery, these Tellabs MSAP's feature
IP/Ethernet architectures that support optimized, scalable service
delivery. Both are accomplished via a powerful non-blocking architecture,
and are solutions that can be deployed at cost parity to traditional
copper networks. While the Tellabs 1150 MSAP leverages the practically
limitless capacity of fiber optic cable to help support extremely
high-speed broadband networks over very short copper connections,
the 1134 enable upgrades to legacy access networks to support an
all-Ethernet network over deep fiber or very high-speed copper connections
to customers.
